Early Life of Heroji Farjand

Heroji Farjand was one of the Maratha warriors who accompanied Shivaji Maharaj to this battle.
In this battle, Afzal Khan had come with a huge army and was confident of defeating Shivaji Maharaj. However, Shivaji Maharaj had a well-planned strategy and he assigned different tasks to his warriors. Heroji Farjand was assigned the task of attacking the enemy from the rear and he carried out this task with great courage and determination.
His attack from the rear caught the enemy by surprise and they were unable to counter it. This gave a huge advantage to the Marathas and they were able to defeat the Adil Shahi forces.
Heroji Farjand's bravery in this battle earned him a lot of respect from Shivaji Maharaj and his fellow warriors. He was promoted to the rank of a commander in the Maratha army and was given the responsibility of leading the army in many battles.
